Being big on the outside but feeling small inside. Seeing beauty in another big person while feeling shame, lazy, weak and cumbersome about herself.

Symbolism of the hydrangea background represents gratitude, grace and beauty. It also radiates abundance because of the lavish number of flowers and the generous round shape.

This painting is aiming to challenge how people still view themselves and others based on their physical size and shape.

The judgements are still often being made based on looks, gender, sexuality and disability.
