Marta Hutt is an Artist based in Somerset, UK, where she lives and works from her home studio by the sea.
Working mainly with paint on canvas, Marta creates vibrant and expressive artwork with cutting-edge attitude. The Polish born artist loves tapping into her Slavic, Baltic and Scandinavian ethnicity bringing to you stories from the past with elements of mythology and folklore with her Eclectic Portraits collection, while her ‘Rebel & Quirky’ & ‘Sumptuous & Dark’ collections tap into current affairs, standing up for women’s empowerment, inclusion and diversity.
Most of Marta’s work is inspired by women and their life experiences, particularly female characters and archetypes with a strong story behind them. We get the sense of the infinite wisdom that women have to share, their spirits, moods and human emotions are carefully captured. Marta uses light and colour to beautifully represent women from around the world regardless of age, ethnicity, background or sexuality.
Living on the beautiful coast, has inspired Marta to create the ‘Nature Reimagined’ collection where you can see a more abstract take on the natural world.
What started as a few drawings in late 2017, quickly developed into an acclaimed fine art brand.
Marta’s art has been published in print and online followed by multiple interviews on BBC Radio. Marta has also been featured in the sold out book ‘From Our Lips’ by Ali Mapletoft.
A solo art exhibition in Weston Museum as well as a large art event in the Tropicana, both curated and organised by Marta, have been received extremely well by the public and other professional artists.
Bridging the gap between fine art, immersive art experiences and design, Marta has been involved in various projects and collaborated with other artists and interior designers. Lush Eclectic Fine Art is stocked in galleries and independent shops while Marta’s art adorns the walls of thousands of art collectors across the world – from the UK to USA, Canada, Australia to India, from Norway to Greece.
