‘Frida’ is one of my earliest portraits which I drew back in late 2017, when I decided to rekindle the love of drawing and painting that I had back in high school.

I heard of Frida Kahlo for the first time as a child, when my mum introduced me to her work. Frida became one of my favourite artists of all time. If I was reigniting my passion for art again, Frida’s portrait was a must!

As it has been painted on an unusual size of paper, this artwork is printed with a white border around, which makes the colour stand out even more. This artwork became one of my bestsellers when I started my art business and it has been featured in various home décor magazines, even making it into the front cover!
