For the past 20 years, Ruth has called the beautiful Sandbay home, where she has raised her family and found inspiration for her art.
Specializing in the lesser-known medium of pyrography, Ruth combines woodburning with drawing and painting to create stunning pieces of art. Pyrography involves using a heated wire tool to scorch and scar the surface of bare wood, resulting in unique and intricate mark-making.
Ruth's talent has been recognized through numerous exhibitions across the South West and Devon, including prestigious shows such as Horses in Art in London. Her dedication to her craft was rewarded with the Best Portrait Award in Bruton, Somerset, and she recently received the Best in Show accolade for a portrait at the RWA Friends Exhibition in Bristol.

Frank Harwood studied Art at University Central Lancashire and now calls Glastonbury home.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for diverse representation, Gail's work transcends traditional boundaries, inviting viewers to appreciate the perfectly imperfect human form.
Her work has been exhibited at The Mall Galleries in London, selected for open calls by both the Royal Portrait Society and the Society Of Wildlife Artists.

Join us for an inspiring afternoon with renowned jeweler and artist, Ian Shipton, at ART GALLERY & STUDIO by Aga Kubish. With over three decades of experience in jewelry making, Ian brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to his craft.
Having graduated from Loughborough School of Art and Design with a BA (Hons) in Jewellery and Silversmithing in 1989, Ian has since pursued a diverse career path. From earning a MA Fine Art from Bath Spa University to teaching art and design at both FE and HE levels, his passion for creativity and education shines through.
Ian's artistic journey has led him to work on exciting projects, including creating public artworks and commissioned sculptures for notable figures such as Lord Melvyn Bragg and chef Michel Roux Jr. His innovative designs have even earned a place in The Design Museum's collection.
Currently, Ian is deeply involved in teaching jewelry design, painting, and launching the Codename Octopus collaborative network. Join us for an engaging afternoon where you can meet Ian Shipton in person, learn about his artistic process, and see his paintings currently on display as a part of ‘Between The Lines’ exhibition.
Susannah is a local artist inspired by the North Somerset coast. She works with paint that she makes herself from earth, mineral and botanical pigments that she gathers when out walking.
During this demonstration Susannah will show you how to make paint from earth, explain her painting process and why she has chosen to work in this way.
Join Susannah for an insightful evening as she shares her expertise on the origins of color, demonstrates the art of creating paint from earth, and provides a glimpse into her creative process and body of work.
Join us for a 'Meet the Artist' event as we invite you to witness Aga Kubish live printing at her gallery & studio . Aga, an artist printmaker, has dedicated herself to creating intricately detailed botanical linocut prints , developing a unique and recognizable style over the past few years.
Discovering printmaking in March 2021, Aga has quickly become known for her expertise in the field. As one of the Associated Members of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, her exceptional talent has been recognized with prestigious accolades such as her 'Green House' Large linocut Print being added to the RE’s Diploma Collection held in trust at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
Specializing in the style of old engravings and dotwork, Aga's work is reminiscent of traditional bookbinding and plant photography. She employs techniques such as hatching, using black ink, lines, and dots, often dedicating hundreds of hours to each piece.
Inspired by the works of iconic artists such as Albrecht Durer, Hokusai Katsushika, and Alphonse Mucha, Aga's passion for plants and architecture shines through in her creations.

Anna's artistic roots trace back to her time at an art university in Poland, where she discovered her passion for painting and drawing. During her stay in Northern Ireland, she honed her skills further, winning first place in a portrait category at an art exhibition in Armagh. Her fascination with realism eventually found its way into her tattoo artwork.
Nature, human emotions, and memories serve as the cornerstone of Anna's inspiration. Using a diverse range of mediums including acrylic paints, pastels, watercolors, and tattoo ink, she creates captivating artworks that reflect the beauty and complexity of the world around us.
