- ART FOR UKRAINE: 100% profits for UNICEF UK
ARTIST BLOG
I've released new art prints titled 'SLAVA UKRAINI' where 100% profit from their sales goes to UNICEF UK to protect the children caught in the war in Ukraine.
These limited edition art prints have been already produced, signed and certified and they are ready to go!
A4 size 'Slava Ukraini' art prints are only £19 (+p&p)
My aim is to sell them all quickly to rise the much needed funds for UNICEF UK.
If you feel that this artwork is not for you, no hurt feelings. Please consider donating directly to UNICEF UK without receiving and art print from me here.
'Slava Ukraini' art prints
So far over 2 million Ukrainian war refugees arrived in my homeland country of Poland.
My heart is breaking as I check every morning to see if my friend who I have known for nearly 20 years is still alive. From being a builder, he is a soldier now fighting in Ukraine against Russian invasion...
Checking in with friends & family in Poland as well as my Ukrainian friends is a part of my daily routine. Everything that has been happening is too close to home (literally).
It's easy to get overwhelmed by your own emotions. But this isn’t about me and my feelings.
I’ve been doing what I can to help from afar and now I would like to rise funds from the sale of my art prints to donate 100% profit to UNICEF UK.
The truth is that cash donations to verified charities will make a bigger difference rather than donating things which then need to be transported across Europe. What you give today might not be needed tomorrow.
In recent weeks I've been live on BBC Radio Bristol talking to John Darvall about the situation in Eastern Europe doing my bit spread the awareness.
The world of art and interiors can be a beautiful way of escapism. After all, we won’t be much of a help if we don’t take care of ourselves.
In recent weeks I've spent more time going cold water swimming and I'm trying to get back to yoga properly as just working flat out on new art projects and watching the news hasn't been helping to keep my mind bright.
The sun is shining now here in Somerset, UK and the brighter days are ahead.
The Spring is coming.
Love and peace from me to you.
