NFT’s - Yes, No or What the hell are they?
I really did not expect to be chatting to you about this 3 letter acronym, anytime soon...
As a painter, working with the very tangible medium of canvas and paint, I wasn't really sure about the whole NFT thing...
Erm, “NFT” did I just used a dirty word or are you as confused as I was?
Here’s the dictionary’s explanation of the term…
NFT stands for 'non-fungible token'. Non-fungible means that something is unique and can't be replaced.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are assets that have been tokenized via a blockchain.
They are assigned unique identification codes and metadata that distinguish them from each other.
Well after spending some time looking at the whole digital Art space, I'm so excited to tell you that I have release my first NFT and it’s now available on a brilliant new platform called Uncut, that’s showcasing creative talent including Traditional and Digital Artists, Musician, Poets and other content creators from across the World.
I'm offering a FREE digital version of ‘Attitude Colour Splash’ to all my subscribers but please bear in mind there’s only 38 available, so be quick… if you want to collect one.
Hit or share this link: https://lusheclecticfineart.uncut.network/nft/34360408298 to claim the asset, it’ll then ask you to sign up to Uncut.
Don’t worry, it’s completely FREE to do so.
Uncut is like a mix of Instagram, Facebook and OpenSea (an NFT Marketplace).
It’s so easy to join Uncut, if you have a digital wallet or you can simply sign up by just using your email address.
This will be a great way to authenticate my work in the future as anyone buying a print or even one my original pieces will also have an accompanying NFT verifying their ownership, that will note their purchase on the Blockchain.
I know it all sounds a little crazy but you will be able to hang your digital versions of my work in virtual Worlds in the near future with full provenance or you can even re-sell the digital assets of my work that you own, either privately on other platforms, if that’s your wish to do.
This is a big step for Lush Eclectic Fine Art, but I do see it as a great way to thank (gift) my loyal supporters like YOU for all their support, and develop a new Global audience for my work.
Please feel free to share your digital version of ‘Attitude Colour Splash’ on your own socials and share the link above.
I’d love to see who’s picked up their FREE gift and going to join me and the Lush Eclectic community, on Uncut.
... and don't worry - my tangible art is here to stay so you can still buy it or see it up close on my upcoming art exhibition in October but more about this soon.
